Steamy, sweet, spicy red wine will warm you to the core. It is especially fantastic to drink after being outdoors on a very cold day. Making it in the slow cooker means you can start it before going out, then come back to a gorgeous smelling house. Cinnamon, cloves, allspice and ginger combined with orange juice, can turn a plain bottle of red into something pretty amazing. The only thing I need now is a proper winter’s day.
